Guilt Trip

by UnknownMami on September 30, 2009

No matter where I am, I always seem to be on the same trip.

  • Guilt Smilt! It is such a wasted emotion! The older I get the less guilty I feel. I do have to admit that Guilt Gate Park is so pretty this time of year though!
  • I've never visited any of those places. No way not me!! NEVER!!
  • I hang out in the capital...Mommy Guilt. I'm there pretty much every day.
  • I love it! Well, not that you're feeling guilty but your way of representing it. Very creative! Hopefully you can let go of some of the guilt.
  • I fight with guilt all day long. Should just change my zipcode and trip with you.
  • ha! Cute!
  • "Got enough guilt to start my own religion..." Tori Amos

Love that line from her song. :-)
  • OMG!!
I drive my kids down this route, almost everyday!
My Mom is the one who showed me around this part of town, but she use to get us lost for hours.
I just take my kids on short trips thru here, just to give them a glimps of the places my Mom took me. Ha!!

  • I didn't know you lived near me! I'm over in "Mommy Guilt".
  • This map looks so familiar to me!!!
  • this map is missing a church and its confessional
  • yiyiyiyi I live in several of those places...
  • Go to bed and put your head under the covers until all the guilt passes you by...LOL
  • You've got an award waiting for you at Drahdrah's Place... maybe it'll make you feel less guilty?
  • Fabulous chica...what a neat and different post, love it!

    smooches,
    Sassy Chica

I tend to visit Guilt Heights, more often than I care to admit!
  • Hilarious! I think you probably have to "know" the San Francisco Bay Area to truly appreciate your full comic genius :)
  • Maybe I'll drop a few family members off in these neighborhoods and give myself a break :-)
    xo
  • Love the map, don't travel there often myself, too much still to see in Hecticville and Beating-Myself-Up county.

    :O)

Aaaaah, mothers. They are showing up in so many of the comments!

I rarely feel guilty anymore -- this despite the fact that MY mother has the biggest realty agency in Guilt City.
  • Well at least it's well-populated... ;)
  • I am so glad to know that I live in such a populated place. At times, I feel like I am alone in Guiltville.
    :-)
  • Just wanted to let you know I gave you an award on my blog :)
  • I think I reside in Guilt Valley. Can't ever crawl to the top...
  • I was just thinking about this today. How I always, always feel guilty. Every. Single. Second. Work and family and everything...
  • Hehe...funny how there is lots of guilt around my way too! Definitely a popular destination! :)
  • As my mom always says..."parenting is spelled g-u-i-l-t"
  • Aww, what are you feeling guilty about, Sis? Have a margarita. You'll feel guilty about that too, but what the hell.

Did you notice the guilt got worse after having a child? Ugh.
  • I will sometimes commute between Guilt and Excuses. The latter makes me feel better about myself.
  • I think I live in the next county of guilt over. My mil and mother are the landlords. Great post. Have a wonderful day and take care.
  • OMG! I love your slogan!!!

I lived in Guilt Valley forever. I think I moved out this year, I think?

  • I have a condo in Inner Guilt. It's nicer than my house. I feel kinda bad about that.
  • I tried to get a place in Guilt Heights, for the view. But the only thing I could afford was just South of Guilt. View there SUCKS.
  • My mother is the mayor of Guilt Town - I try not to visit but you know how it is.

Try to get out of there as fast as you can. Only take responsibility for what is truly yours then get out of the past and travel on over to today and tomorrow. That's the only place to live anyway.
  • I totally didn't realize we were neighbors! :)
  • Last time I was there, I walked up through Mission Guilt, and up to the antenna on the top of Guilt Peaks. The view across town was spectacular. Guilta Vista was a favourite!
  • I don't know if there is a day that passes where I don't visit that area!
  • I used to ask my mom when she started in on me "Do I need to pack a bag? Will this be an over night stay or just a couple of hours?" And now I finally know where it was she was sending me too! I needed this map!!
  • I've been lost in that neighborhood many times before.
  • Guilt Valley is my fav place to hang!
Who knows, we may have crossed paths there and not even known it! :)
  • I loved the lines of Isabelle Holland.
  • Great quote! That's for sure.
  • 19th Ave and Pacheco over in Sunset Guilt was my old home...yeah, good times.
  • HI! I just wanted to let you know I have an award for you!! Please check my blog tomorrow!
  • I hope you find your way out of this trip FAST ! It's never a good thing. Such a useless thing! *hugs*
  • I try desperately to stay out of that painful land, but sometimes it does creep into my life.

    Blessings and prayers, andrea
  • I think I own land in that territory...
  • Sounds like you need to take a trip to South Park. It's a guilt free town! LOL!!

    Big hugs!!
  • Lol. My Mother in law invented this country...
  • Oh crap. I think I probably hang out in some of those neighborhoods too.
