Great pcitures. There is a heron colony up here in Stanley Park. They spread out over the city during the day and “fish” at the beach, on the docks and in local koi ponds (much to my Dad's annoyance when we had a backyard pond). I love how still they can sit. – G

I don't know why, but I always think of herons as goodluck charms. I smile when I see one go overhead. Gorgeous pics!
