Just Say No to Internet Explorer

by UnknownMami on February 27, 2012

I try to keep things positive around here, but every once in awhile I let myself rant. Today I’m ranting about Internet Explorer. That browser drives me crazy and likes to make my online life harder than it needs to be. I broke up with IE a long time ago and good riddance, I say. Still so many people still use it that I can not be completely free of it. I use it at work and I use it to check that this blog is working appropriately for those of you still on IE. I say “still” because my hope is that someday you will explore your browsing options and move on.

This is not my actual rant, my anti-IE-rant is at Aiming Low. Please stop by and give it a read. I am not a techie by any means, but I don’t think you need to be a techie to see the flaws in IE.

Fragmented Fridays

February 24, 2012

Unknown Papi is always telling me that I should go out and he’ll watch the kids. Honestly, most of the time I am too tired to go out. I’d be in heaven if he would watch the kids while I hung out in the bedroom and spent some quality time with my laptop, but if [...]

On Talent

February 23, 2012

I believe that we are all born with multiple talents. We should spend our lifetime discovering and nurturing those talents. Curiosity is a talent. Hiding your talents is simply wrong and a waste of perfectly good gifts. We don’t choose our talents, our talents choose us. What are your talents?

The Lorax {Giveaway}

February 22, 2012

I love a good Dr. Seuss book and The Lorax is a good Dr. Seuss book. On March 2nd, the movie version of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax hits theaters. Perhaps it’s time to take Put Pie to her first movie at the theaters? Check out the movie trailer: In honor of the movie’s opening, Universal [...]

Homemade Fast Food Breakfast

February 20, 2012

I am a fan of a certain fast-food breakfast sandwich and have been known to recreate it at home. Inspired by a pin on Pinterest that was pinned from a post on Macheesmo, I decided to make a few and freeze them so that Unknown Papi could grab one on the mornings that he leaves [...]

Fragmented Fridays

February 17, 2012

Things will be looking a little wonky around here the next couple of days. This blog is a DIY project for me that I get to do when my 3 year-old and 1 year-old aren’t in desperate need of me. Doing it all on my own is great because I get to learn a bunch [...]
