I have not always been a success in every endeavor, but I have never felt like a failure for trying.

May the fear of failure never keep you from trying.

I actually think too much success too soon is a recipe for disaster.  Failure is how you figure out what you’re doing.  Without it you’re just getting lucky.

I have actually removed the word “Failure” from my vocabulary.  I don’t believe in it.  It just makes you feel sad.  You may not always succeed in your endeavours … but that doesn’t mean you’ve failed …. you just got a different result.

Love these and must keep them handy when the ‘failure’ feeling sneaks into my head. Love the purples.

All are super, the last is my favorite.  Have a real hard time with people that don’t at least try.

Having read your blog for a long time (great education BTW) I know this idea of success via failure is more important to you than me.  I completely agree with the concept but maybe because of my engineering background I often just take it for granted.  Any good engineering lab will quickly teach you that failures are necessary.  I remember the saying “If your team doesn’t then they are not trying hard enough.”  Engineering is often about pushing the limit.  You find the limit when the object fails/breaks.  Thanks for the great quotes and reminding me that I should not take certain thoughts for granted.
