Maya-Angelou-quote

I believe that we are all born with multiple talents. We should spend our lifetime discovering and nurturing those talents.

Albert-Einstein-quote-about-talent

Curiosity is a talent.

Benjamin-Franklin-quote-on-talent

Hiding your talents is simply wrong and a waste of perfectly good gifts.

Mark-Twain-Quote-on-talent

We don’t choose our talents, our talents choose us.

What are your talents?

    Great inspirational posts!
    I’m still figuring it out…

Love these–especially the one by Benjamin Franklin.  Sometimes it is hard to accept our talents because then we feel we have the responsibility to use them and that can be scary!

I can talk like Donald Duck, is that a talent? Oh, and wiggle my ears too. And roll my tongue.

Wow I had no idea I was so talented! :D

I know I have a hidden talent just not sure what it is! It’s not singing so I’ve been told and not dancing! Umm who knows!!

Thank you, I’ll take it. BTW, I’ve been meaning to send you a link about the difference between TM and Registered TM. TM is free and just lets people know that you consider something your trademark and are claiming it as such. Registered TM means you paid money to claim it.

Thanks I didn’t realize there was a difference.  I guess I should start writing Lisleman TM – It doesn’t hurt to make a claim if it’s free.

I have commenting talent which includes sarcasm talent.  I also could win a biggest fool contest.  I like the quotes especially Einstein – I miss my brother Al.

Plus you’ve got good hair. I don’t know it that’s a talent, but why not throw it in there?

Your post reminded of a young man who had a tough life. His father had died from a suicide. His mom was struggling with 4 kids and little income. He was not as handsome as the other children in the family. His older brother garnered academic awards by the handful but he did not do well academically. And he was awkward in social situations. I found out that he was very nurturing with animals and small children. He had a knack for connecting with those two groups. As his teacher and friend, I encouraged him to follow those nurturing instincts. Now, he has a family, and he has sorted out some of his troubled past. And I think he’s discovering new gifts as he becomes a good father and husband. Everyone has hidden talents and possibilities to be a positive influence in this world

I think you are absolutely right about everyone having hidden talents.

This is something I’m learning to be okay with – that our talents choose us, not the other way around. I have a flair for crafty things, but in general I think my talents involve other people: being nurturing, showing love by physically caring for others, etc. I have a -great- talent for making a huge mess when I’m trying to clean, and never getting back to it. I have a talent for MESS ;)

I enjoyed all the wisdoms.  I don’t think I have any talent for anything.  I can’t sing and I can’t cook.

I used to think that I had one talent — acting. Now that I have had to walk away from that, I have had to look at myself differently. I have been on a journey to discover my post theater talents. I think today I would say that my talents are being a good friend, good wife, and hopefully, a good mother. I am also starting to believe that I have a talent for writing.
