As a member of the Lowe’s Creators and Influencers Network (LCI), I was presented with the following June/July challenge (I like to think of it as a Mission Possible):
Make your outside space more appealing, more fun and more memorable. Give your backyard a little lift that will keep your loved ones laughing and smiling all summer long.
To accomplish my mission, I was presented with $300 in Lowe’s gift cards. It’s a good thing that they gave me two months to complete my project because I could not decide what I wanted to do. Oh, I had ideas. The problem was I just couldn’t commit.
We went to Lowe’s and looked around and when I saw my little girls in this cute shopping cart, it became a lot easier to make a decision.
I decided that making the backyard more fun for the girls, would make the backyard more fun for their parents too.
We picked this corner spot in our backyard and decided to dedicate it to the girls.
I went to Lowe’s online and ordered this Step2 Neat and Tidy Cottage.
We weeded (by we I mean Unknown Papi) and put down Shredded Western Red Cedar Mulch.
And before you knew it,
the girls had a little cottage in our backyard.
They love their new play space and their parents love it too.
Yay us!
The folks at P&G heard about the outdoor Lowe’s Mission Possible challenge that LCI members were presented with and they wanted to help, so they sent me some products found at Lowe’s to help with outdoor maintenance.
We haven’t tried the products yet because in our household we tend to lean toward green. We clean most things with vinegar, tea tree oil, or hydrogen peroxide, and elbow grease, but if you’d like to try out these outdoor cleaning products by P&G, they have offered to giveaway one set to one lucky reader.
