4.20 eh? Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code is all about offenses related to cheating and dishonesty and can mean punishments and fines and up to 7-years imprisonment. Con mens are referred to as “420″s.

I absolutely love your photos of Haight Street! The close-ups of the signage are filled with such vibrant colors, and the three shots in a row of the man sitting on the hydrant is intriguing. Just wondering… what is the meaning behind the clock always reading 4:20?

4:20 that’s funny. I would have never thought a time would have taken on so much meaning. I don’t know how long the street is. Were your near the famous intersection with Ashbury?

I always enjoy these…my first plane trip when I was 15 was to san fran to visit my cousin at stanford and the plane landed in san fran and I saw a tall thin white guy with an afro (real hair) and bell- bottom pants that were high-waters too! I fell in love with the city and still do!
