Hello children, my name is Mrs. So and So and I will be your (fill in the blank) grade teacher. I am really looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you. Why don’t we introduce ourselves? I’d like you to come up one at a time, tell us your name, and then tell us what you did this summer.

I woke up (I use the term lightly because I did not sleep much) feeling like I have been kicked in the butt by life. It will pass and I will be fine.
I was wondering if you could do me a favor? Normally, I would try and come up with a witty introduction, but today I am all out of wit. I am guest posting on Neva’s wonderful blog Mostly Flummoxed. Guess where I’m taking you today?

Fine, I’ll just tell you.
I’m taking you to Scotland! That’s right.
Here’s the thing, I have a lovely bloggy buddy, Helen, and she has given me the keys to her place. Alright, perhaps I exaggerate, technically it is her blog I’ve been invited to post on, but I’m still damn excited to take you to her Scottish blog.
If you have never visited her blog, Feeding Five for Fifty,you are really missing out on some scrumptiousness (I know that’s not a word, but it should be). The best part is I can have people over at her blog and I don’t have to clean up.
